Welcome abroad Ken, I hope this volunteer duty is a pleasurable one for you as it should be.

Seeinfg how i might possibly newly retired myself, movies will surely be filling my time along with sports viewing. I will be scoping out this circle for possble ideas on what movies to view along with sharing my insights on those ones that I do watch. Sci-fi and action-adventure are my staples.
I just finished watching a couple of action "regulars" from the last 15 years, Steven Seagal in
Pistol Whipped and Jean-Claude Van Damme in
The Shepard Border Patrol. Of the 2, Jean-Claude's movie had more acting to offer along with a better story plot. Seagal's movies simply don't change, probably cuz Seagal's acting never does. I'm always asking myself after watching a seagal movie,,,, "why did I rent this?" In fact the only change I've ever noticed in a Seagal movie is the man keeps getting bigger n' bigger. Bottom line, both these movies could easily be ignored,,,, unless you're an action junkie like I am. Just don't expect a Bourne Ultimatum type of movie here, you can wade thru the plots with sneaakers while watching either movie.

Cheers,
Robin
