Paul,
So, you finally pulled the plug. After years of saying "I can't take this anymore" you finally did it. Congratulations on getting that monkey off your back! So, who's the sucker,  aghmmm ... person, you conned into doing this job going forward?

As for the rest of us ... it's all downhill from here.

Good luck in your new endeavor,
Bob

I'm not going anywhere.
All I've done is resign as facilitator of Lab.

I'm considering offering some commercial audio products, so I obviously couldn't continue as Lab facilitator, because of conflict of interest. Besides, its been a few years, and I'm quite burnt out.

I'll still be around and will continue to post, just not as a Facilitator. No more Mr. Nice Guy...... 8)

The Lab is now in the very capable hands of JoshK.

So long, and thanks for all the fish. Its really been quite a hoot!

Oh, say it ain't so :duh:

Thanks for everything you've done to constantly wrangle the restless and keep the peace.  Fortunately it sounds like we'll still have your expertise and good humor in the Lab.

Thanks also to JoshK for taking over.  We're certainly in good hands.

Hey!

    Thanks Paul. :D

I'm going to miss the way you handle things around the Lab. But is this mean that you are going to be meaner now?

Anyway, can't wait to see what you are cooking up in your own lab

Take care,
Buddy :thumb:

Thanks guys for the good wishes.  Hopefully, Paul will still stay very active in the lab.  He offers a lot of insight I couldn't.

I can only hope. :P I've never discouraged anybody about posting their actual 'blind' testing results. Its just the endless jibberjabber ABOUT blind testing that annoyed me. All talk, no action. As far as I can tell, the only poster other than myself, who ever even talked about the hardware and procedures necessary for actually conducting a valid blind test, is BradJudy.

As to how JoshK plans to deal with these content free posts about the subject is now his call.

Thanks again, Paul.  You left some mighty big shoes to fill, but if there's anybody up to the job, it's Josh.

Can't wait to see what Occam Inc. cooks up :D.

Paul,

I'd second all these votes, thank you sincerely for your contribution, and for giving us the benefit of deep knowledge on a diversity of subjects, particularly magnetics, which are a closed book to many people.  I've learned a lot, and will continue in that vein in my midnight Skype chats with you!!

JoshK, big boots to fill, I'm sure you are up to the task.

Good luck, Paul, with your commercial endeavour.  I'm sure you will be successful, and will visit you hopefully this year to check out progress......

Cheers,

Hugh
