Thanks for running a good clean shop Paul.    :)

Although I don't post much, (mostly looking for tidbits) I very much appreciated how Paul "officiated" the Lab, a no bull approach.

So Josh, which is the first thread that you will split out into the galactic wastebin, or who will be the first person banned by you? Inquirying minds want to know.

I could start a thread on cables again, if it will help you reach this initial milestone. Just let me know.  :P

Well Bob, it isn't that I haven't split a thread before or moved a topic to the trash.   I have been a moderator/facilitator for many years for the NYAR.  But if you'd like me to gain practice are you volunteering yourself as the guinea pig?  :icon_lol:

I have about the perspective as Paul on what should and should not be allowed in the lab, so nothing will change there.  Notice I didn't change any of Paul's stickies for that very reason.  I just don't have Paul's way with words, nor his knowledge of magnetics and power filtering.

Josh - you need to prune any post I ever make in The Lab (including this one!) as you know it is non-technical trash in nature. I beseeched Paul to prune my errant posts in The Lab, but I think he kept them around just for scholarly ridicule.

I am a humble victim of genetics - fart jokes are still very funny, shoe laces are still a challenge and the mysteries of what a capacitor and resistor really do will live on within me

Hey, good luck...following Paul is quite an act to follow.  I liken it to Cheryl Ladd following Farrah Fawcett in Charlie's Angels or whatever her name was (?) following Suzanne Somers on Three's Company  :thumb:

Paul,

Why do you have to go? I missed your jokes that scared me to death...

Thanks a lot your helps which fed my knowledgeable DIYs. Will you be around to help with your dedicated works?

Tan,

I'm still around. Its just that now, my desire to throttle various posters is greatly diminished.
And I don't feel the need to 'guide' various threads. I visit and read threads when I'm in a curious mood.
Its all gooood. 8)

Actually, some posts that would have greatly annoyed me, I now find tremendously enjoyable.
Admittedly, my facilitation could be somewhat heavy handed at times, because I a vision of what I wanted the Lab Circle to be. Josh is altogether mellower (and nicer) in style. Lets see how long that lasts......

Paul,

To tell you a truth, first time I thought you are a "too straightforward" facilitator and sometimes you seems to be "so mean!" But actually you are one of the best facilitator in this circle and doing your excellent job. I understand your situation and your concern about the "traffic" in the Lab. You have done what you have to do. People like or not it is up to them. Good luck on your new job.

What's this? Did Paul just retire further into his retirement?
I read here more than I post, always something to learn...will miss the banter (and sometimes 'clobbering') between Paul (the Stern-One  ) and the masses.
See yah around Paul.  :thumb:
