I was trying to straighten some pins in my DVI-D cable that got squashed by the TV being placed down on top of the connector. Anyway I got the pins all straightened but I managed to break the flat ground bar off.
Is this pin even used? From what I gather its only used with DVI-I as the ground side of the analog pins but Im clueless. What would be the result if I tried to use it, could anything bad happen (bad meaning something breaks). Its a special made cable so its not that easy to replace...
