I have a few projects that require I be able to work with video files (edit, title, etc)
I have a digital video camera, burn the video to DVD, and place it in the DVD drive.
I open Microsoft Windows Movie Maker and or Windows Video Player, and try and upload (rip) the video from the DVD to the HD so I can work with it.
Doesn't work. Some message comes up and says they are the wrong files, or some such.
They play fine in my DVD players.
I really don't want to buy another program if I can help it.
This seems like it is exactly what MS Windows Movie Maker is FOR

Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
