:D   I purchased a set of three.  Quick response, even quicker turnaround.  Received them and was so impressed I ordered another set of four.  A much better value that the Ayre or Cardas myrtle blocks.

I have a set of the myrtlewood footers with the brass bearing inserts that I picked up at RMAF and they're quite nicely made.  Unfortunately, I think the felt pads on the bottoms probably defeat any of the coupling properties.

I just read in another circle where another AC person advised to order them without the felt.  The felt can be removed.

Thanks, hadn't seen that thread.  Definitely a pain to do though.

Removing the felt pads is not really a pain at all, although in the future, when my current supply runs out, all sets will be shipped with pads unmounted. Until then, just give them a good pull and take the glue residue off with oops, thinner, or remover. Remember though, the sound may be too lively for your system so think about what your system needs first.
