I moved and therefore my AKSA moved with me... I have the 100W Nirvana. Previously, it got a little warm but, nothing major. Now, it gets very warm and I was wondering if people could suggest a few things to check.
The amp is situated in a shelving unit from Ikea that's made for a TV... it's one of those, low, flat things with wheels. There's 2 'holes', equal size, about 20" wide and ~5" tall that form the base. They are open in the front and back. The amp fits neatly inside but also appears to have plenty of air to move. But, maybe it doesn't. It was in the bottom of a large entertainment center closed cabinet before.
My bigger worry was that the power was wrong. I will measure the voltage tonight. I wish I could test it with a load so I could know what was happening when the amp was sucking more power out of the wall.
In any case, is the space too small? Could voltage be a problem?
Thanks,
Carl
