I would call BAT with the serial number and get a history on the amp. BAT has fantastic customer support so I think you would be fine buying used. Pat- there a couple of threads on Audiogon about the seller. Some think he is a little shady and misleading in his policies and representation of products. I never dealt with him so I can't speak firsthand. His user name is "Jboeyjus"

Another worth checking out...didn't spot any used.....Clayton Audio amps.....
Good power....nice quality...a bit expensive.
Had a good sounding room at RMAF....

If you find it not to your liking....because its a BAT, the sale would be easier.
But it has the power you need....and it is a good amp.
