I tried to refrain from chiming in with operatic stuff but I can't help it. You can't ignore the great operatic tenors and baritones if you want great vocals. From the three tenors and Irish tenors back to Caruso, there are and have been some great voices. I personally really like DiStefano, Del Monaco, Bjorling, Corelli, Kraus, Gedda, Gobi, Bergonzi, Domingo, Carreras, and Pavarotti to name a few. Recently I heard a great voice in young bass-baritone Erwin Schrott singing Don Giovanni. There are some promising young talents coming up in the operatic world. A very good thing.
