Hey... I am intrigued by the "anticables" speaker I've read about in various forums and realized I could try and make them myself (one of a handful of DIY audio projects I feel up to), but I'm having trouble finding the exact kind/size of bulk cable. Near as I can tell, the anticables are a 12 AWG (oxygen-free, highly annealed, enameled, etc?) solid core copper wire, aka magnet wire.
I have seen some listings on Amazon or eBay (close, but not quite what I'm looking for), and also checked a few local hardware stores, where it seems more like stiff, automotive and/or hookup wire. There are some commercial sites that seem to offer it, but they often require very LARGE orders and their order forms are pretty cryptic. Any help and suppliers you can suggest would be greatly appreciated. Oh, and I'm bi-wiring, so I am looking for 8 lengths of 8-10 feet, so between 64 and 80 feet of wire...
Best,
Jason
