well
It was worth the wait
Romeo Tiu has assembled a complete GK-1 for me based on my rudimentary suggestions
the art side of the boxes is truly Romeo style, but i am very happy with it.
I wanted solid spruce enclosures and the GK-1 in mono fashion. That means 4 boxes!!
2x main preamp and 2x separate transformers.
I use the GK-1 as a luxury version of the TLP, so no gain control knob. The resistors to replace the pot are chosen for 0 db gain

I have upgraded the pcb with C19 ( Sonicap Platinum) and the output cap ( the redDynamicap) The input cap C1 is repaced by a small wire as my DEQX (preamp) before the GK-1 has already Dynamicaps as output caps
the C2 mod (BG's) I still have to do

The pcb is hard pressed with the screws "into" the soft spruce board so the resonance of the pcb is controlled by the wood
look how elegant the green light from the green led is "led" outside by a plastic bridge
rest of pictures is in my gallery

the adding of the GK-1 is wonderful and made the sound more transparent even after 24hrs only cap break in
With good designed gear, more is not less, the opposite. A revieuw will come in due time
