John-
I know someone looking for a pair.
What was done on these beyond the the basic Mono Extremes?
I realize Klaus does the SE versions on a custom basis so yours will be different than other SE's.

What color is faceplate?
What is estimated shipping from Canada to midwest?

Thanks.

I'm interested, John.

Could you please post or send a PM explaining the differences?

Thanks.

they are not even fully broken in yet,so u would have to ask someone who has a pair, according to Klaus nobody has a pair with these modifications, and i dont think he would lie about that statement would he guys!he told me he went all out,6-8hrs/amp over regular S.E.'s in labour alone.

John,

It might help the speed of the sale if you talk to Klaus and are able to post how these are different from the normal Mono Extreme SE's.

Tough to judge what to pay for something that can't be described or detailed.

Just my two cents.

Wish I could grab these, but already have a pair of Mono Extremes.

This is one heckuva deal, peeps.....

New Mono Extremes are $2800 and those are Odysseys top of the line advertised units.

This pair has substantial additional mods which you would be getting for basically free.
You still get nearly 20 years warranty and have probably $3800-4000 amps.

Can't believe someone has not grabbed these.

Since the seller still can't tell perspective buyers what they are paying for, I am not the least bit surprised that they haven't sold yet.

Hopefully some details will be forthcoming.

Actually George (and you know this) the SE version done by Klaus is different for each person it appears depending upon what they want done and there is no standard list of parts replaced/wiring, resistors, etc that Klaus lists anywhere.
Folks are curiously quiet about specifics of it also. Not that many out there.

Finding out is easy enough-call Klaus.

Like most modded units of any kind you lose money when selling, but this unit is 2 months old and is a step above the usual SE version which most people get done for around another $500 from what I can gather.

I have no affiliation with this seller and have never talked to him so I will butt out at this point.  :D

It is a going to be a nice deal for somebody.

------------------------It's an absolutely over the top, ridiculously beautiful pair of Extremes,  a one-off.
Has everything you can do,  better resistors, caps, even Groneberg hookup wire, and TS Premium internal wires.   Took forever to be build,  and really should be about $ 4,200 - 4,500.
At that cost that John wants to sell it,  it is a silly bargain,  especially since it is pretty much new.
Also,  I had 3 other very interested parties calling me the last couple of days.
Better check and see if it is still available.

Simply put,  it is a duplication of my own personal amps,  and the best that I can do.

Late,

Klaus

Sounds like a duplicate of the ones Klaus built for me a couple months ago and I can attest they sound terrific indeed.

Serious buyers should really look at these.  At this price they're crazy good.
