Thank you so much for the kind words. Really all we are here to do is try to spread the word about the importance of room acoustics.
I have known Ethan for about 2.5 years and not once have I ever encountered him being unethical or as gone out of his way to hurt GIK. It amazes me that there are a few guys out there that have spent so much time trying to discredit him when there are SO many snake oil acoustic companies out there. Does he get it right 100% of the time? No, but I doubt anyone does. Granted a healthy discussion between 2 pros is GREAT, but I have seen it go WAY past that. I would go out on a limb and say that without Ethan there would still be people hanging egg crates for bass traps.

Glenn,
I see a very similar willingness from both you and Brian as well. What prompted all this is the bullseye that seems to be on Ethan's back. I'm not sure if you and Brian have one's on your backs out there in internetland, as I don't frequent many other forums.
I also should mention that I think the Acoustics Circle is probably the most difficult one on AudioCircle from a vendor's standpoint. It's an open forum, not a manufacturers forum. The etiquette rules of manufacturers and industry reps cannot be followed here. It's a bit of a free for all. Perhaps even a conflict of interest. And as a business person, you have my sympathies.
You guys have it tough here.
If someone posts a question in the Acoustics Circle, one or more vendors come in to help. It's kinda like the equivalent of a guy walking into a car dealership and having reps from numerous auto manufacturers come to answer an general inquiry. Not the easiest scenario, or the most comfortable from the consumer's or vendor's standpoint.
I have no idea what would make it easier on you guys here, so that it doesn't come across as the different acoustics vendors pulling, tugging, and luring on potential clients here.
To address you comment about getting it right, as I mentioned before, I've followed numerous recording industry magazines over many years, Mix, Sound on Sound, Electronic Musician et al, and one of the most succesful studio designers today, John Storyk, himself admits that despite all their knowledge, theory, and practical experience, they sometimes still don't get it right, and that what they think should/would work, in theory, doesn't always work in practice. Their knowledge is constantly evolving.
I find that acoustics is very similar in a lot of ways to the study of aerodynamics(fluidynamics). They are still discovering new things all the time.
Keep up the good work guys.

Cheers
