James,
As I have my customers remotes set to turn on the SP2 first and then choose the device (dvd, cable, sat,cd or whatever) The SP2 has time to boot up before it changes to the proper input.  So, my question is, They do not need the firmware, right???  Thanks.  Remote codes were a challenge as the MX950/MX3000 from Universal  remote control just has some of the older Bryston codes and a Bryston 1 and 2 ???  on their website.  So i had to use some & learn others.  Trial & error.  Can you send me  the remote codes for the SP2 to download so it will be easier next time?  Thanks

Hi James, no news on firmware update allowing to bypass SPV detection @startup?

I have the same issue : pbm with remote assignments due to startup delays.

Hi Fabien,

No sorry not yet.
The software people are looking at it but apparently there are a fair number of changes necessary and we want to make sure it does not affect other parts of the software.

Hi Guys,

I have some new beta software to disable the SP2 from looking for the SPV-1 by default.

Please email me and I will send it -jamestanner@bryston.ca

Need the serial number of your SP2 and where purchased.

Thanks so much James. The SP2 is no longer trying to detect the SPV at startup. My universal remote is now well managing audio inputs at boot
