Audionote users probably have their own secret forum, for instance, and Bugatti Veyron owners, too.

Seriously, though, Nathan - does one rock work with all types of music or do you recommend different rocks for, say, orchestral versus bluegrass .

But really - what is the secret to MD's success? Everyone knows what nathan's sonicrock is, but why is perception different form the pebbles or the timex clock or the peter belt sticker or the green felt tip marker? Why does 2% of us seem reluctant to reject MD products outright? Not a one of us expect nathan's rock to be anything but just a rock he picked up from who knows (who cares) where, but there's a person here or there who'll give the pebbles a second look.

So miklorsmith, does that mean you'll be bidding?

I'm thinking the effect would be enhanced if you were wearing the T-Shirt while listening with the SonicRock in place. What if you have a few of your audiophile buddies over, each wearing the shirt... The system would sound so good they would practically melt from the sheer sonic bliss and it's likely the FBI would raid the house because of excessive Synapse-Discharge.

It must have just happened as I looked at it earlier. That is so lame of Audiogon, allowing the sale of a phone call to tweak your system but not of the SonicRock. At least with the Rock you actually got something for your money.

So it looks like all I have to do to get the SonicRock ad back up is to register as a business and thus agree with a huge long list of terms (which I don't have the patience to read just yet) and then instead of it costing me $6.00 to post a classified\auction it will cost me $15.00! The price of an innocent joke more than doubled!

I see now my mistake was wording the ad as Elemental Voice instead of wording it as a guy who bought the SonicRock and was re-selling it. I might've gotten away with that.

I have had new product development on the back burner for awhile, maybe if I get that going I can assemble a more comprehensive product line of senseless balderdash items!

I must admit, Machina's phone call is a pretty good move. The idea is to sell as little of a tangible product as you can to people it seems. Even though a phone call costs money it's less than shipping rocks. I guess the next step is to sell people things they already own!
