Almost embarrassed to post, as I am a complete novice compared to others posting here.

These are some pics I took when my wife I just went down to the Florida Keys.

George Please! Don’t be embarrassed - those are some really nice photos of the Keys! My wife and I just flew into Miami this evening from Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic where I too took a lot of photos, we may take a quick drive down to the keys before heading home to Seattle. You have great eye for photography!

Agreed, no one should feel their photos are not worthy.  I've been going through the old slides and found a few gems.

I think you did a great job on composition, George.  Just keep shooting and you'll get better and better.  Don't forget gfroman spends a significant amount of time Photoshopping his images to get that incredible pop.  Like you I'm just trying to snap those magic moments.

Thanks guys!  Really appreciate the positive feedback.

Not sure what everybody is using to take their pics, but mine are almost exclusively my Samsung Ultra 23 phone - my Nikon DSLR and lenses are just sitting in their backpack.

Here are a few more pics...

Winner, winner, chicken dinner!

The photo of the Aston Martin was taken with a Sony DSC-18, my first digital camera.  Circa '99 and my cell phone didn't even have a camera then.  The fireworks behind the Seattle Space Needle was shot with Ektachrome slide film circa 1988 using my old (and defunct) Contax.  My current TOTL camera would be my Canon 7D but it's such a monstrosity I don't like using it.  I want to sell the body (and battery grip) and get into a mirrorless unit I can use my Canon EF lenses with.  Much lighter kit that I know I would use more.

I was wondering who has been pooping in my backyard for the last 2-3 weeks...

About 5:30 this afternoon saw a couple javelina's napping under my backyard olive tree. There are 4 in the group, the others are hidden

Aww, so cute
