Be specific, dont just say beer.

Of course my favorite would be two or three Belvedere/Grey Goose Vodka on the Rocks!

Get my ears in a nice stupor hehe.

I like scotch and/or beer (too many varieties to list here).  Sadly, I'm giving up both for weightloss purposes.

Summer: Cacique Guaro  :o with fresh Tangerine juice.

Winter: Maker's Mark.

Year-round: Good light to medium bodied ale... currently seeking an obscure standard. Any suggestions?

Anything made by monks.  I'm also fond of Anchor Steam.  There are many others, though.  Hmm...I still have three bottles of Anchor Steam at home.  Doh!

John Courage.  Top notch. :D

Did someone say beer??

hmmm, it's almost "close enough" time.

Actually I also enjoy rum/jack with Diet Coke late at night as it helps me stay awake.  After a few beers, grilling/cooking/eating/clean up, and kids to bed it's sometimes hard to make it through the first CD.

Irish whiskey or small batch burbon, and a good cigar.

Beer: Bell's Two Hearted Ale, Victory Golden Monkey Ale, Unibraue La Fin Du La Monde

Or:

Sweet Maria's Liquid Amber, roasted either 3 or 4 days ago in a traditional cap.  Too bad this is like a 4 oz drink, only takes me through about 3 tracks, but it is great.

Or:

if I have been working, a glass that has VERY thick, heavy glass, full of ice cubes, and any clean tasting water.

Beer: Magic Hat #9 or Yuengling when I was on the East Coast.  Here in STL, it's Fat Tire.

Of an evening - 1/2 coffee 1/2 chicory splash of Khalua

Spirits: Fine anejo (Corralejo por favor), or in the rare mood I want scotch, something from Balvenie.

Beer: Dogfish Head 90 minute (or 120 ) IPA, Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout, or a Sam Adams seasonal (like them all).

Every day listening sessions: Dale's Pale Ale, although sometimes Old Chub.
Special event listening sessions: Dogfish 90 Minute IPA.

Red wine.

Cheap stuff.  Barefoot, Yellowtail.  Gotta spend the $ on audio.

Hmm maybe I should switch to beer tonight! Magic Hat, those guys are mad scientists! Dogfish is also excellent, Anchor Stem.. yum yum... Sierra Nevada Pale ale if you like bitter beers, Any IPA really...Then for serious obliteration a nice Barley wine or double triple bock, maybe some Port even.

 Ditto.. Me too on the Yellowtail. The Aussies have some pretty good cheap stuff in yellow, orange and red labels (IIRC) Also try "Little Penguin" it's the same price, about the same "taste".

My favorite BY FAR is Concha y Toro Frontera either Cab's or Merlot.
(Try this Paul, it's very good and cheap too  aa)

Bud Select when I'm feelin' rowdy.

When the cabinet is empty, I'll put some Triple Sec in a tall glass of Orange Juice on the rocks 50/50.

I'm a cheapie too...

Yellowtail Merlot, or Chardonnay; or Kendall-Jackson Riesling when I'm listening to jazz. And when the blues/rock/fusion is playing; then I reach for Busch beer :icon_lol:

(except in the daytime, iced tea)

Red wine. Sangiovese (or blend), Pinot Noir, Neibbiolo, Shiraz (Syrah), Cab blend, Tempranillo or other Spanish wine for every day. A bigger wine for special listening sessions with company: Barolo, Barbaresco, Bordeaux, Amarone, Brunello, Burgundy. The latter, unfortunately, have gotten very expensive so it's a very occasional thing.
Luckily there is a great deal of very good wine from around the world at reasonable prices. The Pinots from California and the Pacific Northwest have gotten very good and often can be had for $12-18 retail (I buy by the mixed case to get a 20% discount). Luckily, also, I rarely have more than one 6 oz. glass a day.
