.....and the pockets will empty :), but not nearly as much if we had not preordered, or had tried to find an equivalent elsewhere, if one even exists.

With the travel time involved, customs and the build-up, I guess with any luck they should be shipping out to us sometime in mid June?

Hay, I saw that in a movie once! So it has already been done, besides as magical as Brian is that might be a stretch for even him.

I think B, estimated they would arrive and clear customs and security around the 23rd or so, depending on what security level we are under.

That just might work out well for me.  I will be leaving town for my two weeks around the time when they are due into the shop.  That allows for about two weeks of build-up and testing before needing to ship them to me, in order to catch the window when I return home.

Have they arrived at the shop?  I hope Brian can start working with them on Monday after he returns from vacation.

Hi Dave,

I would assume they are still in Customs or Clearing, since there is no one at the factory when Brian is finishing his vacation.

I am really looking forward to the reports once these thing get a good dose of electrons.

Yes, it should get very interesting indeed.  As good as I find that single loaner VSS in my room now, these new twin towers should really be something to experience.

I still find it a little odd that I am able to roll in that sub to my V60s below 57Hz, when Brian was using 70-71Hz at the CES.  When I tried those higher points there was a bass hump in that zone since it was being reproduced by both systems.  The V60s measure flat down to 57Hz in my room without the sub and I believe I am rolling the sub in below that point to achieve the flatest response through the transition.

There will be LF reinforcement related to room volume and dimensions so don't feel odd about where you cross over the VSS's.  The VLA's will load your room differently as well.

The May 19 cabinet shipment is still in customs and I expect delivery end of this week.

Brian posted me yesterday that they were waiting for some paperwork from PRC before they could release.

He expects July 5th.

Then things should get interesting.

I check in several times a day in the hopes that I will read of things moving in a positive direction, but there has been nothing for 10 days.  There are many times when no news is good news, however this is not one of them.

No Doubt this is moving slower than a "pig in a Python"

Last word from B, a couple days ago was that they are still waiting for the paperwork.

One would think the internet and fax machines would speed that up, but apparently not.
