Thanks for the vote of confidence TCG!   I honestly believe that naysayers who aren't into fancy cords just need the right experience. 

Wasting $ on power cords is nonsense, but experiencing what the good ones can do is priceless.

It took me 3 years from the initial purchase of the VPP-1 to make it sound right...about every 6months to a year i'd spend $100 or so toward the effort.  The VAC-1 was 1st, then a power cord for it.  The RAL umbilical was the last piece of the puzzle..the golden key really.    With the VAC-1 + a sensible power cord the VPP-1 was a giant killer.  With the RAL, its a giant.

Truly Matt - I do understand.  The RAL umbilical is simply superb.

Their power cords and IC's are quite nice, too.....but the $179 for the umbilical is an excellent, excellent value.

I don't at all doubt your VAC-1 sings with it.
