but for some reason I don't like the Mapleshade sound that much
Hello Audiocircle, I am interested in "Mapleshade CD's". Anyone out there have any suggestions? Or better yet! Does anyone have "Mapleshade CD's" for sale. Remember this is a poor and starving audiophile that your dealing with!! So have mercy!! As always, all the best. From China!!Sincerely,Ralph Lomax
I really like the Blue Rider Trio's Harp Steel and Guts (or something like that).I also got a Kendra Shank and Monica Worth - they are decent, but I don't listen to them much.I like a couple other items off of the sampler (like Drink Small), so I might pick up a couple more CDs.
I highly recommend the John Cocuzzi Quintet, "Swingin' and Burnin'." It's a great recording with great music.

The microphone placement / room setup had way too much bleeding into the other mikes and the sound was thin. The ballads sampler is really nice though and very good demo material.
