-Myself
-Steve Callis (from "HomeTheaterShack" forum)
-My co-worker (if that's ok Bryan) - He's curious about "all this cool stuff" I have on my monitor all day at work. {Don't worry, he doesn't drink much}

OK.  Here's the list I have at this point.  Let me know if different....

Turbo - maybe
Kirch - probably
Scott F
Grant (my cuz)
Albert - maybe
Sarmck
Bob
Bob's Work Bud
Steve Callis
Steve K (late)
Tim (Late)
Sturgus
Chris (MerRev)

Scott,

looks like amps may not be here in time to get 100 hrs on them so if you feel like lugging the Radii's, I'll make room for them - I bet they'd be a nice match for the SSR's and wouldn't mind hearing them on my Dyns.  Oh, and bring a couple decent sets of interconnects too if you don't mind.  Haven't gotten mine built yet and my normal ones are all XLR balanced.

Looking forward to seeing y'all Saturday.

Hey Bryan - just curious - how much room do you have?  Ever posted pics of your listening room/area?

Hey Kirch.

Room is 17x21.  Dedicated seating for 9 but that's for HT and not all necessarily conducive to stereo sweet spot listening.  There's more space outside the room with dartboard, pool table, card table, etc.  There will be some 'rotation' I'm sure but it's partly just a hang-out too.

Come on over.

 Sorry man. Been there, done that. Look at the bright side Alan, you won't be seeing things at the wedding you'd want to spent money on.

   Bob,
Believe it or not, lately, I've been being good...   I now it won't last. aa

I sold the old Rogue Preamp, the MSB Dac, and some cables.  I've had 3 different people say they want the VTL Amp(from Audiogon), then fade away.
Being good can only last so long.  With the cash sitting in the Paypal account, I'm probably more dangerous than before. :tempted:

Have a good time at Bryan's!!

Hey Alan.

Sorry you can't make it.  We'll do some night you're free in a week or so after the amps break in more.

I know you'd like firm yes or no, but right now I'm not sure if I can make it.  I might be going to visit the in-laws that day ... I need to get wifey to make a decision.

If I did come and brought my new speaks, do you have 4 amp channels I can use?  Or should I even consider bringing them this time?  For the active x-over part right now I'm just using some F-Mods, they're an inline RCA plug ... simple to hook up.

Too bad - another time maybe.  There are a couple others that can't make it so I'm sure there will be some smaller sessions in the near future.

Hey Bryan,
I'm going to have to take a rain check tomorrow night as my alma mater is playing UCLA then. I just got my nitro-glycerine pills refilled (after last night's SIU game)  :o just in case and I'll be glued to the LaZboy then after campaigning all afternoon. Too much going on tomorrow. I would love to come out another time though at yer convenience for a listen. Just let me know.

OK.  FYI I will have the games on in the basement outside the listening room if you change your mind.

Will likely have another smaller listen sometime with a couple others that can't make it.

Pretty cool.
I'll have to admit, when Bryan told us what speakers he was going to have I was a little disappointed. I was thinking these low efficiency bookshelf speakers aren't going to be very good. I was hoping for something "cooler".
But it didn't take me long to respect their sound quality. I'm just glad I didn't "talk trash" about them before I heard them.  :o I'd be eating my words.

Bryan, thank you for inviting me/us to your home (and a nice home it is!  aa).
You and your wife are very gracious hosts. I felt very comfortable and had a great time.
Good food, good music, good equipment, good company. It doesn't get any better than that (actually it does..... the fact I don't have a hangover makes it so much sweeter).

Me thinks Bryan will be upgrading his burner soon. He seemed like he was starting to get slightly pissed towards the end of the evening, whadda think guys??

The A/B comparo between digital/analog was nice too. Thanks to Scott and Bryan for that.
It all sounded good, just varying levels of goodness!

Bryan, thanks again for hosting.  :thumb:
I'll leave the reviews and model descriptions to the professionals.
