My lady gave me the newest Chris Botti album. "To love again" I tried to rip it to my computer using itunes and WMP. No luck it won't rip. I thought something was wrong with the computer so I tried another CD. Works fine. No problems getting it ripped. Beware!!! Beware!!! Beware!! Saw some fine print on the Chris Botti album that says "The audio side of this disc does not conform to CD specifications and therefore will not play on some CD and DVD players" It plays fine on my DVD player. But like I said it won't rip to my computer. Cheers Charlie
DualDiscUnlike regular CDs, DualDiscs are double-sided. One side contains standard CD audio; the other features DVD content, often including the album in higher-fidelity stereo or a 5.1-channel surround sound mix; lyrics, photos, and computer files; music videos, interviews, and documentaries; and anything else one might find on a regular DVD. Though DualDiscs are slightly thicker than ordinary discs, the DVD side should play in all DVD players, and the CD side should play in all CD players.
Or just rip it on the machine that will accept it then mail it to yourself on the other PC and import it.Bryan
Really no big deal it's the only CD that I can't get read. But I would like to get it into my itunes library so I can listen to it through my SB3 setup. Best audio playback I've ever had in my system.
HaHa!! Gotcha!! This CD was a gift from a lady. Let's see now. $70. for dinner. $106 for concert tickets. BART fare was about $11. for the both of us. SEE!!! CD didn't cost me a dime.
I've never been able to successfully rip a dual disc CD and would love to find out how.
