The connection accepts any wire you might have laying around. A piece of speaker wire would do.
Just strip back about 1/2" of insulation and push it home into the hole for the wire once the wire clamp is loosened.
The screw (requires a small jewelers screwdriver) above each wire hole needs to be turned out counterclockwise so the wire clamp inside the wire hole is open. There's a screw and clamp for each wire.
Once the bare wire is in the hole and pushed home, tighten the screw clamps.


Note: With the SP2 you would use the terminals marked C (common) and AUX for the programmable input such as you have done with the DVD player. If you simply want the trigger there when the power is turned on the SP2 you would use the C (common) and the ON/OFF terminals.
