...so Chris, do you scope out all the rooms in advance for just new "leaning" candidates that aren't in the archive yet or are you going to LISTEN to them too?  Looks like there is a LOT of new stuff to digest (and lean on)  :thumb:  Tom

Ahhh, life is good.  I just got my email notification of my CO Airlines upgrade.  I get to fly CLE-DEN in style, listening on my iMod/Cordia Move/Ety 4rs combo.  Pinch me.

Look forward to meeting all you folks.   :thumb:

I'm going via Cleveland Friday myself.  They must have forgotten to call me   Oh well, I'll be in the cheap seats this time, I guess.

Guys,

Just a little tip here for some of you:

In case you don't have a room yet,  or uncertain about the one you booked///
Denver Tech Center for around $ 80/night per Expedia.
I think it is a Sheraton affiliation,  and very,  very nice.  About 1.2 miles from the show via I-25 underpass.  Stayed there last year,  and it is very good.

Late,

Klaus

I've been burning the midnight oil to get a new speaker ready for RMAF, and I'm finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

I'll be debuting my Dream Makers, which are controlled-pattern offset bipoles.  I think they're a first; don't know of anyone else doing quite the same thing.  Come on by room 1100 and check 'em out.

Alas, so sad, I can't make it this year and there's so much to see. I hope everyone is bringing their cameras and will post pictures for all of us poor unfortunates who can't be there in person. Please, PLEASE take pity on us and let us share via photos and your impressions this years greatest RMAF. Thanks!

I really want to hear Danny's LS6/9's, AV123 X-Statik OB/X-Voce, the SP's in Chris Hoff's BPT room, and Wayne's new Statement/EE Mono's/VMPS V60 setup.  I also scored quite a few CD's last year, with really good deals from Marcia at Reference Recordings.  I figure I'll do the rest of the room planning while sitting on the airplane.  So much to see and hear, so little time :)

A quick note for all who will be coming to Denver for the first time.

While you are aware we are a "Mile High" we are in what is known as the Great American desert.

There is very little humidity compared to the rest of the world.

Please make sure you drink lots of WATER when you are here.

You may also want to bring or buy some chapstick or lip balm. Your lips will get dried out very easily.

The first couple of days you are here, you may get some headaches due to the altitude and low humidity.

Walk slowly, DRINK LOTS OF WATER, and all should be fine by the third day.

Also, don't try to match a CO resident drink for drink in the lounge.  :icon_lol: We are very used to the altitude and you will find you will get drunk a lot quicker at this altitude.

I am looking forward to meeting a lot of you this week.

And... he's really not kidding.

My father in law spent the day of our wedding this past summer in the ER, precisely because he ignored our advice.

It will be no big deal if you just follow the rules Wayne just gave.

Looking forward to seeing lots of you folks this year -- looks like it's going to be a real crowd.

Yeah, and for those showing, if you want to have a popular room just pick up a case of bottled water to hand out.  :D
