Hi Guys

when it comes to musicality is ac-coupled amplifiers more musical than opposed to dc-coupled ones

I think ac-coupled o/p stages are more desirable
But
dc-coupled o/p stages are more popular with ss at present
some of
the best classic amps had used ac-coupled o/p stages

Hi Guys
Many good developments are happening, and one worth mentioned is class-d amplifiers,
class-d is a very high efficiency class of operation lots of power less weight and size
are some of the benefits of it, currently aimed at proffessional audio sector, i see no
reason why you audiophiles not experience this new development in audio.

Excuse me, I don't recall making those arguments.

Nelson,

I picked from that remark from yours for it did hint to the line of argument I focused on.

If you do not adhere to the camp of subjectivists who posit there are unmeasurable performance parameters that make for a perceptible (for the better) difference, then just fine, it certainly makes sense with an individual both long experienced and sporting a keen intellect in matters electronic.

Nelson Pass is an Objectivist!!

Hi Objectivists will give you only one type of amp = lemon!

You should do an amp evaluation  tour so we can hear one of these wonderful creations of yours.  I will gladly evaluate one for a week or two.

Nelson Pass at CES!!!
http://www.enjoythemusic.com/ces2007/tuesday/

thank you guys i wish you could audition some of my prototypes and
tell me your experienced thoughts of them, note i dont claim to make
the best just amps that are based on musical merits, I only make
unique musical amps and amps are low powered ones, my research is based
on alot of experimentation and my amps reflect this.

Hi guys how you have been doing

Ive been at large department stores lately in sydney australia to see whats
on offer in the latest technology

Audio
we'll i am afraid 99.9% is crap with the capital C, you'd be amazed at
the low end stuff thats currently on offer, audio it seems is going
downhill in consumer electronics, most of the stuff even those not
coming from china are becoming so low end and cheap i wonder what
is happening to the market, i remember the seventies and eighties where
you had access to alot of good equipment sold in most general electrical
stores

video
here the trend is confusing you have plasma lcd crt all three being in the
race for a wide variety of customers, plasma and lcd remain head to head
in terms of performance while crt is going from cheap to cheap for a different
wide market all together, an interesting product i saw was a sanyo crt tv
claiming reduction in size and depth of cabinet not screen size and with a
marketing motto as thin as lcd, apparently this model used a wide angle
deflection crt and had reduced depth so much so it looked really thin not as
much as lcd or plasma but i wonder is there a trend of development there
is crt going to compete in size just think that such development could be
on its way to revolutionise the crt geometry this product clearly showed
innovation there although this has been done before by bang and olefsen
a danish brand in the eighties i see potential there for more development
if the big japanese makers find it interesting the potential for thin crt could
be unleashed

hope you enjoyed my report!

At this point, if I found out you were a prankster burning bandwidth and pulling chains, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised.

I don't actually think we would be amazed.

I think maybe Dr G is suffering from the effects of not getting to town often enough, and perhaps relying on the wrong sources to find out "what's on offer in the latest technology".

Department stores??

This post is being locked.

GGA has been asked to produce evidence of amplifier designs and there has been no evidence to suggest they exist.

George, either you have amplifiers to sell or demo or you do not - no one here needs an update of your opinion of things related to audio here in Industry Ads Circle.

Thank you,

John / TCG
