Ditto here. I've not been scammed in
either place, and have lots of transactions at both; but Audiogon is just a great resource for all to use. At the new pricing that went into effect several months ago, it's not
quite as cost effective as it once was, but still very efective at reaching the right hi-end audio audience.
I used to just list my stuff here, but expect to sell on Audiogon...but recently activity is up at AudioCircle and I have sold a couple items here (to my complete surprise - can't beat the price, either

). The problem with listing here is that it is not user friendly...we have so much activity now that the listing do not last long in front of the viewer for any 24 hour period.
One day, when JohnR actually catches up with his sleep, it might be good to group the items into categories for all to research whats for sale...rather than scroll thru all to see what's avialable.
Anyhow Winston...I'd post on Audiogon and on AudioCircle first. ebay, Craigslist and TheRecycler (in SOCAL), after that. fyi - Audiogon has been trying to get Videogon.com rolling for some time...they may still be offering free ads there if you're gear fits some category over there.

I think weirdo's remark that ebay is much better than audiogon is...weird.
I have sold a variety of items on both sites and can't say that I've had any significant (or maybe even insignificant) scammer activity on audiogon. a lot of people will email me and ask me to bid myself down but that's not scamming, it's just trying.
