Hey Josh,
The motor will be a PWM (35Khz) controlled DC motor. I should hopefully be able to get it just perfect, I am going to have it set-up so that a single potentiometer can make EXTREMELY precise adjustments to the motor speed. The controller and motor will be in a single box sitting off to the left side.
As you can see, I am still using an old arm from a TT that was give to me a few months ago, but honestly I dont even own a ton of vinyl, so this is just to get me started. At least the table will be good (I think?!?!?!).
The platter was made with a router and a circle jig, then proceeding layers were sandwiched on and flush routed to match the perfect one. It turns for a REALLY long time. I need to decouple the table from the stand somehow, but I am not sure how yet. Bumping the rack really makes some big bass
