Hmm that seems to be a tall order, to have a whole CD that has no downer songs

Texas Flood has "Pride and Joy", "Mary Had a Little Lamb", but then you also have "Texas Flood", "Dirty Pool" , "I'm Cryin'"
And Reggae can be pretty dark too..."Lion Got a Right to Live"
Joni Mitchell and Neil Young have some uppers and plenty of downers. Same witrh the Beatles.
Some of the older stuff makes it easier : Glenn Miller, Perez Prado ("King of the Mambo"). Or the 50's and 60's.
Doc Watson comes to mind as someone who is almost always upbeat in the acoustic Americana department..
