These stupid stores are going to find themselves in a lawsuit over this crap.

A co-workers boyfriend (a teacher) camped out for 2 days and now has 3 units all going on Ebay.  So he missed about $400 of pay and now will make about $6000+...good deal I'd say and when he goes back to school he can teach the kids about the the value of a dollar in America.

I just don't get it.  In a month or two, after the initial frenzy, if you want one of these you'll be able to walk into a store and buy at the MSRP of $500-$600.   If you want one of these, you probably already have an earier generation PS or something comparable.  Why would you pay the extra $2000 just to get your hands on the new unit when you could keep that cash and just wait a couple of months until the stores are adequately stocked?

I wish I had the freedom to queue for one. I could have used the extra $2000.

People are after the "premium" version, only limited quantity, they're no longer made and sold after today.
