The holes were really designed for the DM and the HT 3. I don't like gear to run any more than warm to the touch(e.g. the tubes in the Candela are not even warm to the touch, by design), even though some of it is designed this way, such as the RG 1 and 4's of SL. The blue haze effect over the amp tops is just an unforeseen, but super cool and sexy side effect. Love it.
As for Robert Harley, it was really the first time in all these years that he spent a good time in my room. Usually I don't get too many reviewers of the big papers anyway, but I also don't make too much of an effort either. Imagine with several reviews in those mega magazines: I would probably be at 3 months back order, aaaargh. Anyway, I was probably the first person to completely turn off the lights (like in dark!) when he listened, which I think irritated him at first. BUT when I turned on the lights after the songs, he just sat still for nearly a minute, in disbelief. Yes, I am honest, it felt really, really good, and he couldn't stop giving me compliments afterwards. im was there and saw it as well.
Anyway, let's see what happens next, but as for my experience, RH was extremely nice.
Late,
Klaus
