The bottom photo is Birdseye Maple. It is really cool looking when you see it close up. The top one is Mexican Bocote, next is figured Bubinga next Spalted quarter sawn Sycamore, then quarter sawn Sapele. They all are gorgeous and each offers a one of a kind look.

Marvin,
The preamps that Gary ships will require some assembly.
That would be the tubes and the batteries.

Per the owner's manual:
Comes with a quantity of two 6DJ8/6922's.
Any variant of this tube is fine.

I'm running the stock tubes now but I also bought another set that Gary recommended if I wanted to do some tube rolling. Can't remember what they are so I'll post it later.

How many of the other lucky 19 have gotten theirs? I am curious to hear your listening notes. I suspect that mine will near the end, having ordered in June. Even still, I eagerly await arrival in the next week or so.

I just got mine today and I'm sooooo disapointed.

It is amazing looking, real audio jewelry. I'm so disapointed I have to wait for the batteries to charge overnight before I can listen to it.

Maybe I won't go bow hunting in the morning after all....

I got up early today and went hunting this AM, left work early and hunted till dark, then came home and set up the pre to charge. No pics until after the weekend, I'll either be resting, listening or hunting.

That's the first time I've seen pictures of the new amps and the new power cleaner thingy.

How do they sound.
Well I had to finally give some push and shove to some people at 7:30 tonight.
As I had to get a bite, starved.
More and more comments on the sound of the system complete as is.With the HT8 looks like we have a reviewer wanting the complete as is system for review.
He just loved the over all quality of what ever we threw in the player sounded very good as well as clean.

This new pre is GREAT. and the power supply.great.

Then the new 120 amps.For those nowsaying what !!
Yes Gary redid the layout of 120 watt's and they should be rated at 150 not 120

Well the long day is tomorrow.

And yes the look of the exotic has high comments.

I had a chance to listen to a few songs just now, and without breakin, the new pre sounds VERY VERY good.
