Cool.  Will there be special pricing on the treatments you bring to the shop so you don't have to haul them back?  If so, will they include off-white tri-traps?  :)

We're providing setup and treatments for Home Audio Connection, Blue Circle, and Selah Audio.  Glenn and I will both be at the show.

That's good to hear. Of the rooms at the last show (RMAF-2005), those with treatments in place really sounded good. The room I remember best was Danny's (GR Research - Dodd). They did an excellent job in that room....unlike other room's that just didn't "cut it"..... 8)

Agree Danny and Gary, Roy put a lot of work into the room each year. And it does show very well.

Those not booking a room yet.Priceline low ball price for a 3 star Tech center $35.00 At the Sheraton Four Points.

Now see if I can get a mid size for $15.00 like last year.

As a follow-up, we're also going to be in the Boulder room with Wayne, the new Transporter, new power supply, etc.    Here's a link to a thread talking about what else will be in the room.

RAW - that's a heckuva deal on the hotel/car.   8) :o
I just checked pricing for airfare from Houston and was shocked to find it for $158 round trip through Continental.  For grins, I checked my frequent flier miles and I have enough to fly free. :D

I may do some playing around on priceline tonight for the hotel.

Yes 3 years ago I got the Hyatt across the street  via priceline for $25.00.
When I told Danny he nearly fell off his chair

Priceline has done me good.
Just wished they would do airfare from Canada.

Cheap from Seattle but almost triple from Vancouver.
Some day.

Yes but youhave to log intoPriceline.

What you do is put a bid of what you want to pay for a room ect.

Then they send it out and see who takes it.
You set your location in the city and price then the level of hotel you want I always take 3 star and start at $20.00 and normally they take it around $25-$35.

Yes good deal for sure.

I just realized I'm getting old.
I was booking the rental car and had a choice between a new Camry or a Mustang convertible for about the same price.....
Took the Camry (figured I could use the quiet after the barrage of sound from RMAF)

Ray Kimber's IsoMike demonstrations will be interesting. The system will be set up in a very large room, I'm told about 60' by 60', four channels, with three Sound Lab Pro-Stat 922s per channel (about 9 ft. tall). Seeing and hearing this system alone ought to be enough incentive to attend the show. :thumb:

I just took the plunge and coughed up some frequent flyer miles to go Ft. Wayne to Denver.  I haven't quite nailed down the hotel situation and ground transport, but it looks like a go for me.  Marriott wouldn't give me the special rate today but I'll try again Monday.  Worst case I guess I can get a car and try to priceline into the Sheraton.  The difference in rates would easily cover a rental car to go back and forth.

I look forward to meeting a few people from the board and I'll finally get to hear how my Merlins are SUPPOSED to be setup since Bobby P will be there with the Joule gear this time.  The new GR stuff Danny has looks pretty cool too.  Big fun no doubt.

See you there

Tom

Hey Tom:
I ran into the same situation with Marriott on their 800 number, hung up, called back 5 minutes later and got the better rate.
Try again

Try calling the hotel direct.....303-779-1100 ext. 375  ....speak with Alanna Thelen. She was very helpful for me last year. You should have no problem then getting the rate. See you at happy hour.....

Watched the football game between Denver and Baltimore played in Denver. Bad weather! Lot's of rain. Checked with weather.com and it looks like cool with showers for the RMAF. GEEEEZZZEEEE!!! Here I am in warm sunny Martinez Ca. Wearing shorts and a tee shirt. Since May. Looks like I'll have to break out my winter gear before the RMAF.
