Don't forget to attend the third annual Rocky Mountain Audio Fest. Meet some of your favorite AC members, manufacturers and vendors. Hear some fabulous and not so fabulous systems. Enjoy a nice beer in the bar. :)

Good reminder Mike and thanks for the link.

Got my ol' lady agreeing to go if I'm willing to show her the rest of the area in the week before.  :thumb:
Tough job!

Having her come for a day is a great way to legitimize the next year's wave of upgrades! :rotflmao:

Missed last year; didn't want to miss it again.

See ya there!

I'll be there too! Don't care much for Coors beer though. Think the bartender will get pissed when I order a Sam Adams?

Better yet order a Fat Tyre!

Lots of great local beer in the Denver area.

I was born here and I don't care for Coors either. The bar actually has some nice micro brews, so getting a good one isn't a problem.

If you like good music, beer and food (kind of a silly thing to say in this circle!), check out http://www.oskarblues.com/ It's a little off the beaten path for most, but only 10 mins from my place!

Sean,
Never been there, have to check it out (love Cajun food).
Also Denver has one of the best selections of microbrews in the country.

Any word on what entertainment they will have this year?

No wheels for me. I'm flying in Friday afternoon and staying at the Marriot. I can walk around the hotel area though. Some good spots nearby?

Denver also boasts good Mexican food and don't forget Twist and Shout Records, one of the better Indie music stores in the US.

I will be attending from Denmark with a mystery guest.  Look for the Hello Kitty dudes.

Well, I can get a flight on US Air with my miles from Thursday to Sunday so I might just do it.

Pete,

Any time you want to come up, I'd be willing to go.  They have some mighty good jazz and blues there.  The last time I was there, one of my students was playing in a jazz band, great sounds coming from some young people!

Charlie,

Inside the Marriott isThe Great Divide Brewing Company Pub. http://marriott.com/property/abouthotel/restaurants/dentc

Great Divide is a very nice micro brewery in lower downtown Denver. This is an outlet for most of their brews. They do make a very nice pale ale. There are also some good restaurants near-by. You can always hook-up with a local to go out bar hoppin', if that is your thing.

Bar hopping is not my cup of tea. A coctail, Nice dinner, Glass of Vino, and some people to shoot the breeze with about audio is more my cup of tea.

See you there and the first one is on me!!

For those that need to schedule a flight out of Denver the Audition Rooms close at 4 PM on Sunday.
As of yesterday closing wasn't posted on their website so I called them.

Well, I just bought tickets this morning so I'll finally be making it to the show this year. I'll certainly be in on any taxi-sharing, dinners, and boozing that goes on amongst audiocircle members :)

The date is penciled in on my calendar.  Can't wait!

What are the top 3 things people want to see this year?

Mine:
1. Hagtech - HagClock Upgrade
2. Modwright - MW's PReamp
3. Welborne Labs - Ultrapath BP

And, of course, anything by Perpetual Technologies...

I'm really looking forward to finally hearing some ACI speakers and meeting Mike.  It will be nice to meet Jim from HagTech.

AF - Have you been to the show in the past?  And how did your veneer project go?
