Okay, the keyboard sucks like all laptops I've used- I'm really used to my split MS Natural keys. Anyway mine is a pig, just a 1.5 gig Celeron, but all I plan to use it for is accessing the 'net while I'm on the road (the weeks stretch on and I'm still in Watertown staying at the Ramada, and I probably will be here for another month).
I considered buying a portable DVD player, an iPod-like device and/or a PSP...then it dawned on me that a laptop would perform all these functions. I took my Griffin Powerwave with me; it fits neatly in my laptop bag. Man, it's a nice 'phone amp! Only problem is that my 'phones are pure junk. Next time I'm in SF I'll have to pick up some Shure earbuds. There's probably better but I don't have time to order them online so it has to be something I can buy in town.
At least I'll be able to keep up my post count!
