How about Batik covered panels?

Panels I have function but they are kind of BLAAHHHH in the way of looks.  so I am thinking about covering them with Batik fabric from here.

I think I can slide the fabric under the frame on Real Traps and just staple it like a canvas on the frame of GIK panels.  I haven't seen Nathan's yet but I hope they can be covered.  These 100 % cotton fabrics shouldn't affect the acoustic damping ability of the panels.  Would they?

I have several Realtraps and love them.  Due to the metal frame wrapping all the way around the sides it's pretty tight, so I don't know if you could easily slide cloth underneath and get it smooth.  I'd just cover the whole thing and maybe staple it over on the back.   There is an example on their site of someone that put fabric over them (I think) and painted them.

That may work better not having the frame outline.  The fabric comes 44" wide which doesn't quite wrap around.  I think I can tie them together in the back with strings.

With a little bit of sewing, you could use some of that velcro that comes in long straps to make it adjustable and easier to manage.

You could just wrap them around the GIK panels and staple to the back.. OR you can send us the fabric and let us do it so it looks all pretty !! :)
