I'll have to check it out. I love the other two. Do you have The Amps?

I don't have the Amps album "Pacer", but I've heard good thingss about it. I do have the Breeders other studio album "Title TK", but neither that or "Mountain Battles" were quite as good (IMO, could be just me) as the first two.

I saw this flash by as I was looking back on the thread and misread the name as Joey Barton (Newcastle midfielder/thug). Of course I was watching a soccer game at the time and my mind wasn't quite focused.  :duh:

Len

Hey Len,

So far, so good. I'm going to run through the tracks a few different ways: Desktop 2.1 system; Headphones (Beyer Dynamic DT 150); and put through the main system two different ways (burn to DVD & digital out directly from computer).

The biggest reason for doing this was convenience: I got tired of having to fire up the TV to use anything in the dang format. I'll PM you with further impressions / observations.

Mike

p.s. sorry i stepped on the word.

He often performs with Gillian Welch.  If you like Americana music, give them a listen.

Paul, I have most of Gillian's cds. As it turns out, she was influenced by the Santa Cruz music scene.

Quote
On a break between their Lifeforms and ISDN albums, The Future Sound Of London released this album under the pseudonym Amorphous Androgynous. While ISDN is a transition album between Lifeforms and Dead Cities, and tends to pull both ways, Tales of Ephidrina is more together. The tracks blend together in a similar way to Lifeforms, and the overall feeling is very similar. The ambiance of the tracks is somewhere between melodic Ambient and easy Techno with minor World Music touches. this is music for the mind. You put your headphones, and flout away, possibly into a virtual world created by their regular artist, Buggy G. Riphead.

Don't let Pman get to you Paul, I'm in the same boat.  :duh:   I've that one & 2 more of theirs on LP, and I too still need to get the TT set up again for my now very modest vinyl collection. I wish he wasn't half way across the country, I'm sure he'd be a great motivator to get off my duff if he was closer.

Saw them at Butler Univ in Indy early 70s, been a fan ever since.   :thumb:
