Don't let Pman get to you Paul, I'm in the same boat.  :duh:   I've that one & 2 more of theirs on LP, and I too still need to get the TT set up again for my now very modest vinyl collection. I wish he wasn't half way across the country, I'm sure he'd be a great motivator to get off my duff if he was closer.

Saw them at Butler Univ in Indy early 70s, been a fan ever since.   :thumb:

I know Paul has a TT. I'm trying to give him a gentle nudge  8)

Just finished listening to Hejira for the umpteenth time in last few days, (in my defense, using it to audition phono pres), I have this one, I simply must pull it out and play it.

Of course, that means bending down, searching for it, cleaning it, etc. blech!

Paul, I have most of Gillian's cds. As it turns out, she was influenced by the Santa Cruz music scene.

Len,

That's interesting.  After listening to her and Dave Rawings music the past few years, I thought she was influenced by the Appalachia/Ozark region.

Arthur,
It's going to take more than a gentle nudge to get my duff off of my listening chair to set up the tt.  Bill lives fairly close (approx. 100 miles), and I may have to invite him over (when it gets warmer) to motivate me further.   :D

Dan Bejar is a really interesting artist. I have several Destroyer albums and his compositions with The New Pornographers are some of my favorites.
