Half a century ago, folks, access to information was a project. Those of you who haven't a clue what life was w/o a computer, well I hardly remember myself. LOL. In order to learn the chords Bill Evans was using I relied on a trusty Rek-O-Kut turntable with Shure arm and cartridge ( many styluses) stylii? and I would listen to what notes Scott Lafaro was playing then figure out the chords in an endless lift-the-arm-go-back procedure that consumed many hours/days. Today budding musicians wanting to expand their horizon have it really easy. That is if you don't want or have the means to spend years at Berklee, for instance. Hear's an example of what I mean......
