Quote from: martyo on 17 Jan 2008, 11:11 pmSo.. martyo! This image came up on the side of the home page and I traced it to your post in Jan 08.I have a particular interest in that disc as I recorded, mixed and mastered it. Did you like it? (no pressure!)
Do try listening at a volume level that would give you front mid hall seating. I do this alot for onsite recordings. Russell may disagree, dunno, you may too for that matter, but only after you've tried it with this.

I try to mix everything at the level it would be, live, in an ideal seating position. So to hear it the way I intended it, it should be played close to that level. If it is played quieter, it will sound a little bass shy and very slightly treble shy.The ol' Fletcher-Munson effect kicking in.
