Live recordings of slipknot are disappointing compared to the album releases. Corey's vocals seem to slack off, and it isn't mixed very well.
All hope is gone- Slipknot

Bloodrock 2 was the first album I ever bought - Even though DOA was the big hit, I think I liked the side with Sable & Pearls better. I think it got thrown out by my parents during one of our moves - I need to get a copy again.

Guitarist for the Dutch group Focus, this jazz fusion solo album highlites his guitar prowess that for a time had him rated right up there with Jeff Beck & Eric Clapton.  :guitar:

Thanks for the offer, but I'm sure I'll come across a copy - I just hadn't thought about it in a long time, most people seem to never have heard of Bloodrock.

I've got I, II, III,,, 1 of my favorite bands along with Grand Funk Railroad when I 1st came back from Vietnam.  Good times to hid bad memories. Nothing but rock back then, now it's jazz & basically everything else. I'm an open book musically. :singing:

Hi Laura,
It was the first time I saw Brett Dennen and he has a nice "act".  His band is very tight.  A lot of his songs have a reggae beat or flavor, and he encourages the audience to sing along on a lot of his songs.

As for GPN, this is the third time I've seen the band live in the past 11 months.  The new members, Catherine Popper and Benny Yurco are fitting in nicely with the other members.  Especially Catherine, I think she's a better bass player than Bryan was with the band.  The band played five or six new songs that will be included in their new album coming out next spring.  Grace was also encouraging the audience to sing along on some of the older songs, and it was apparent that a lot of them knew the lyrics.  As usual, the band gave a fantastic performance.  You can feel the energy from the band the whole concert, especially since I was standing right in the front, by the center of the stage.
