Are you referring to the volume pot in the T7, or the one in the BAT?

If it's the T7, you can set those Noble pots in between notches...

? The T7.. Teh BAT has a digital volume control.

Based on my reading of their white papers, it's still a stepped attenuator, albeit setup as a shunt...

I think the Noble's are not stepped attenuators, but I could be wrong.

I havent bought anything yet. I need to save up and sell off some old gear. I'll probably end up with a T8 in 2 or 3 mos.
