Bless you all, happy new year, let's do another one!

How about some links or company names for an equipment stand w/ these critieria:

1. Minimum 7 shelves, 8 better, height irrelevent.
2. Casters or wheels for swiveling to ease rear panel access.
3. Cosmetics at least a step above a pro-sound rack.  If natural wood is present, I will have to refinish it black to avoid clashing w/ varrying speaker finishes (changed regularly).

As always, thanks for your time.

There is a factory one just like you are asking for as well, but the name escapes me.  They used to advertise in Stereophile.

Why do a Salamander clone yourself?  They're easy to build and look good. Also they are very strong and the shelves are adjustable.  On the bottom of mine I used huge acorn nuts instead of wheels.  That makes it easy to move although I can get behind mine without moving it.

What was the approximately vintage of the Sterephile ads?

My wife loves your membername (don't take that the wrong way buddy, maybe "screename" is more appropriate  ).  She was a kick-butt marbles champ as a kid.  She eventually owned, as the saying goes, "All the (neighborhood's) marbles..."

Seems like it would have been 2-3 years ago.

I was kind of wondering how she knew what I named my member

In fact, it seems like one of the guys either here or at HD bought one.

I think it was AVRak or Avtrak

Here is A link to them, but probably not the best link.

Here's their homepage.

Chris has made me some platforms and the work is excellent.

Since it is custom, you will get exactly what you want.

Highly recommended.
