If only I had known about it.
The Good Guys near my house closed its doors over two months ago.
I have auditioned speakers many times at Good Guys and I always come away not liking what I hear. It doesn't seem to matter what the price is. I don't know if it was the room, their power conditioning, their switching or what. This only applies to home audio. I liked the car audio rooms, at least, when you could get anything to work. I always wanted to hear the Gallo Micros. I went in one time to audition them, but they were unable to hook them correctly. I forgot about them after that. I suspect I would not have liked them inside a Good Guys either. I swear the place was cursed with bad sound. I would have loved to have picked up the A'Diva for $48 though.
