I actaully found http://www.diyaudio.com and posted, discovering that I need a pre-amplifier for my turn table, so...... I could use it for my computer intput, but the turntable needs like a 50db boost or some thing like that.

I have to check but perhaps I could use my Rotel's output into the amplifier, just use it as a pre-amplifier.

You seems to be missing at least a RIAA amp for your turntable. I have two massive designs and Mr. Hagerman has his Bugle and you have a lot more altenatives.

I have a reciever that does both, a Rotel RX-203.

I was looking at the power chip amp caues it is very inexpensive and powerful. I also looked at this

Peranders those are your designs? That is sweet, I however predict the costs are more then the Bugle if I just buy the plans and PCB, parts are under $40.

I had considered a tube pre-amplifier, but a tube amplifier might just be the ticket considering price differences. The lower no DIY kit tube pre-amplifier, the DOD entry level, is a fantastic price for fantastic entry level pre-amplifier, however it will cost more then a small tube amp and pre-amplififer Bugle combined. I have no fear of building any thing, I can solder, and know people that can solder circles around me if I need assitance with some thing only an expert can solder.

sounds like you are after the chip amps for simplicity. if that's the case, you may also want to drop an opamp-based riaa amp in the chip amp of your choice then you are ready to go - alternatively, you can drop that riaa equilization circuitry into your turn-table and output a line level signal to the standard chip amp.

either way, it is going to be very easy if you are comfortable with soldering - you must be otherwise you shouldn't be looking at the kits.
