Yes, the 120dB slope is a bit different. The engineer that designed it also designed a nice tuner for McIntosh, he says it helps keep the metal mid-bass drivers from ringing.
The stiff metal cones can do good things especially if the ringing has been tamed. I think this a key feature of these speakers.
JA has been making loudspeakers for 15 years but, just seemed to start getting things right 3-4 years ago.
From all I’ve heard the RM25si MK2 is a very good loudspeaker. I also like the fact that it is 8 ohms with a minimum impedance dip of only 6 ohms. Plus, it has good bass to 32 Hz!
Sure wish I could audition a pair here in Thailand or Singapore
