Hi,  I,lurk here a lot but rarely post.  I have a musical fidelity integratrd as my main amp driving a pair af b and G corp radia 520 planar speakers.  I was wondeing if anyone has opinions on good cheap subwoofers for music.  I have considered SVS.Hsu, piinnacle digital, PSB,and kef psw 3000, but as these are hard to audition I really don't know how they will blend in with th the planars.  Any oponin is appreciated.  I live near chicago now, having moved for st louis

Look for a used VMPS "Larger." Or if you can go a bit higher, you could get a Larger, new. Highly recommended.  :D

Dipole is suppose to blend the best with planars.  Check out linkwitzlabs.com and the pheonix dipole woofers project.  That should give you some ideas, but not an off the shelf product.

Your own Bohlender-Graebener makes the Radia Z SUB. It's absolutely excellent, although there's now a newer version that my dealer carries with a passive radiator. The original Z sub is only $900 new.
