Holographic series huh? Hmmmm.

Holographic is poised to be one of the big 'buzz words' of the next few years much like 'HD' has been recently, so that might be a good choice (or not, depending on your POV).

i like the  "acoustarray" series     but  we know that they will sound great , the amount of work danny puts into his products that will be a given.  so just instead of cheesy, corny marketing names  why not just go with    the  GR RESEARCH LINE ARRAY SERIES

if you dont know me, DAMN you missed out!  lol  (kidding)

Here is another cheesy marketing name, "Vox Fideles" or true voice.

you want cheesy. The B.A.S.S. series.

Big
Ass
Sound
Stage

A more serious name; Kodachrome series, as is vivid colorful images. With possible numeric names for different models. Ex. 4.2S. 4 woofers,2 mids, S for subwoofer. Might be some copyright problems though. Something to do with vivid imaging, I'll keep thinking.

Illusion, Virtual, Resolution, Intense,?

Ok, here are my suggestions:

You mention openness as an attribute, so:

Horizons, or the Horizon Series.

Panoramas

Vistas.

After having Danny crank Rob Zombie to unhealthy levels on these speakers, I now think many of the suggested names are too wimpy (no offense to the suggesters).  :)

Since this is a modified RA-8. How about RA-8 Extreme, RA-8+, RA-8 Signature, RA-8 Reality Plus

It is not a modified RA-8. It is a completely different speaker. The RA designation represents Raw Acoustics products only.

Danny - will these be offered with XBL^2 technology once you have the drivers to your liking? If so, how will these compare in sound and price to the LS6 or LS9? What situations would favor one over the other? The reason I ask about the XBL^2 technology is I'm not interested in getting speakers with attached subwoofers... just the arrays. Lastly, what are we realistically looking at in terms of a time table? Thanks in advance and keep up the good work.

Best speaker at the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest 05.

This speaker was by far the best speaker at the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest 05.  My son said “These speakers make any music enjoyable to listen to”.  My son is a good music judge because he plays an $80K Steinway piano once a week, and also play chamber music. Also we have attended symphonies, operas and classical concerts while we were in Europe.  I could not believe the kits were only $1,200.  Some of the other system I listen too at the audio fest spent more money on fancy speaker wires/power cords than this speaker kit.  This again was the best speaker I listen to at any price.
