NEW line array kit will be released at RMAF

Well we have a Line source kit coming that will be released at RMAF.
8" wide 65" tall 14" depth.
Using M-130 drivers and the new RA104.5 ribbon.
Kit pricing will be $899.00

CNC baffles will not be included.

Info and updates will be available on the RAW forum, as well I will try and keep you up to date here as well.
This new kit (complete speakers as well) will be available from RAW Acoustics.
AT RMAF the show pair will be on a special price.

Here is the finished measurments taken by Danny.
Picutres will be posted along with new data on RAW Acoustics.

I'm sorry I'm a little confused.Is this kit a GR Product or a RAW product?If the latter then was this posted on the right forum? If the former wouldn't be available from Danny?

I agree. This sounds like a RAW Acoustics kit, and thus it should stay in the RAW forum. Otherwise it just creates confusion about what kits are offered by Danny and what kits are offered by RAW.

The kit will be available only from RAW Acoustics, but yes we (Danny& myself) are doing this joint venture kit for RAW using Danny's woofers and I do not mind saying so.This is a project I have that will only happen with Danny's input so I give credit were it is do.
His forum.So his customers can stop by at RMAF and see Danny's design work.

By the way RAW Acoustics is in the RMAF room with Danny.

As for the post on RAW forum that is up to Danny and I am sure he does not mind this post at all as it is a joint venture.

Yep, this one is kind of a joint venture, but available through Raw Acoustics.

Al wanted to offer a high end array in the budget price range and was bouncing some ideas off of me with my M-130 woofers in mind.

I had done some similar designs in the past and had drawn up a very similar design years ago that lead me to pitch the design specifics to Al in a way that would make this work and meet his design objectives.

This will use Al's new tweeter and eight M-130 woofers per side. I will be doing the crossover design as well so expect nothing less than my usual high standards on it. This should be a really killer design.

Some specifics include:

High 94 to 95db sensitivity.
6 to 8 ohm impedance.
No point source/line source radiation pattern variances.
No 3db/6db distance doubling issues (consistent output at all distances).
No lobbing errors.
Consistent off axis responses horizontal.
Large vertical off axis window (consistent over a wide range).
Low distortion design.
-3db in the mid to low 40's.
Narrow profile.
High quality crossover parts.
Easy to build.
And Inexpensive!!!

I am sure Al will be posting pics of the cabinets as he has them ready.

There are two other commercial companies that I am doing design work for as well. New product lines, new models, etc. One, you may already know about.

There are lots of new products coming out soon that will set new performance standards. I am really excited about things to come before the end of the year.

Kind of funny

I have a few pairs around the neighbours now.
As a fact I have to go out tonight and take a pair of line arrays from one neighbour to the next.

As fast as I can get some ot them built I only have time to take them out take a few photos and get them to the finish room box them and send them.

To make things go quick the drive way does get a far amount of use yes.

They are coming.
A lot of work with them.
We got handed a few pieces that just needed to be reworked every way and shape.
Will be interesing when they are done

Sub cabinets all use the GR SW12 PR combo and the Mapa sub will be in Denver and a special price on the complete sub will be posted with a few other show specials.Sorry the Makore sub sold but can still build another one.We have lots of Makore,waterfall Sapele and Mapa in stock.
As a fact talked with Danny tonight about Walnut burl as well we have that in stock as well.

What line sources are pictured in the driveway dated 09/09/2004? They are shown unfinished as well finished in a previous photo. I didn't see them on your website.
