I'm replacing an Audioquest PT-6 on a custom TT. I couldn't fit an Aries or much else in my cabinet at the time so I had a plinth constructed from 1" of Corian and used VPI parts. It's very pretty and could be considered a pseudo-prototype for the Scout (but better looking).
So I needed an arm that was roughly the same size, roughly the same mounting distance, and I'm a little afraid of unipivots because this sits inside a cabinet with little room to make constant adjustments as such.
The DP6 was a pretty easy choice, but I did consider the Origin Live arms and the Mitchell Spacearm, some used SME's and such.
I'm mounting it and adjusting tonight after 4 days of burning in the wires. Best of all, the wife's out with the kids so the house is all mine. I can play as long as I like, or until they come home).
Enjoy,
Bob
