If Gregg can get logged in and get settled, I'll try to move a few of these posts into a new thread for him in Market Square.  He's got a Yahoo address so we're trying to figure out what to do.

BTW, thanks for that post, LW... I forgot to mention he'd be at RMAF...     I think I'm blocking it out of my mind since I can't make it..

I use their silver resolution series for interconnects and speaker cable with the Nuforce ref 8.01 amp.  This was a recommendation and was used in the Stereotimes review of the Nuforce amplifier.  I don't know how they compare to most other cables.

I have Greggs IC's and speaker cables for several months in my system. The cables are well into the reference arena.

How do Greggs' speaker cables compare against Analysis Oval Plus cables?

Gregg's very open to putting his cable up against any type out there, and encourages AB comparisons.  I'd be interested in reading a shootout that included his stuff.

Mapleshade is a great bargain.  Clear, great bass, just enough copper bite to make it "real".  $85 per stereo eight foot pair.  Bare wire only as connectors dimish their sound.

I will likely compare Gregg's cables to (at a minimum) Tara Labs Phase 2 w/ TFA return and Analysis Plus Oval 9.  (both are very good w/ the AP's being a little nicer to my ears)

I'm also trying to get some interconnects.  I will compare those to Audience Conductor and whatever else I have lying around.

A good ol' fashioned cable shootout! ;)  Nothing more exciting than that.... well, I did whittle some wood once... but man, big fun nonetheless. ;)

Gregg's burning them in and said it'd be a couple of weeks before they shipped... So, probably end of the month...

Hi all, couldn't figure out how to just post and not reply. Anyone try the Guerillaudio cables. He makes both copper and silver IC's and speaker cables. Prices seem pretty reasonable.

I'm very curious as to how Gregg's cables perform vis-a-vis Cardas Golden Reference, which I'm considering (but don't want to pay the $$$).  I realize there's a huge $$$ difference between the two, but we all know $$$ doesn't always dictate the performance.

Thoughts?

I will nominate Rick Craig's Linus3s.  They aren't even his best design but they are the design I heard and I have to say that I'd take them over all the commercial $20,000+ speakers I've heard.
